Welcome to TechSpark Parent Dashboard!

In this dashboard you can manage all your Online bookings and schedule or reschedule Online 1:1 Tutoring lessons.


Rescheduling & Cancellation
  • Tutoring & Mentoring Lessons can be rescheduled for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson in My TechSpark Dashboard.
  • You can reschedule lessons within your tutor’s availability schedule. In case you want to reschedule for another date/time, please contact [email protected]
  • If your student fails to attend a scheduled lesson, the lesson will be deducted from your available sessions.
  • No changes can be made within 24 hours of the lesson start time.
  • Unattended lessons are forfeited and cannot be made up or refunded.
  • Multi-lesson packages are intended to be used in full, and unused lessons will not be refunded.
  • All lessons must be scheduled within six months of purchase. Lessons expire six months from purchase, with no refund.

What do I need to do before my child's first Online Tutoring Lesson or Online Group Class?

What you need to join the classes:

  • Please make sure your child has the Zoom link(s) for their lesson(s)
  • Students must have access to a laptop or desktop computer. No iPads please.
  • Make sure you have Google Chrome browser installed on your device, if not, please install it!
  • Students should have access to their own email address
  • Zoom desktop application installed, alternatively you can use Zoom in browser
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • Check that your audio, video and screen sharing settings are enabled
What if the curriculum is too easy or too hard once the course starts?

In Private Tutoring – the instructor will adapt the material to your child’s needs, interests and pace.

In Online Classes – please note the recommended age when booking the class. We ensure all classes are small and students have plenty of individual attention form our instructor, however the class pace is set by the students’ progression. If we notice that your child is falling behind or progressing significantly faster than the rest of the class, we would usually contact you to discuss alternatives. 

Likewise, if your child tells you that they are finding the material too easy or too hard, please contact us on [email protected] and we will assist you in finding an alternative solution.

How do I view my scheduled Online Tutoring Lessons or Online Group Classes?
Online Private Tutoring – all your scheduled lessons will be displayed in the ‘Private Tutoring’ tab. Online Group Classes – all your booked group classes will be displayed in the ‘Online Classes’ tab.  
How do I reschedule my child's Online Tutoring Lesson or Online Group Class?
You can reschedule Online Private Lessons up to 24 hours before the scheduled lessons via the Parent Dashboard. Online Live Classes may not be rescheduled in the dashboard. If you are unable to attend a class and would like to move your booking to another available date, please contact [email protected] at least 14 days before scheduled Online Live Class start date. How do I schedule the remaining Online Tutoring Lessons in my package?
If you did not schedule all the lessons in your package at the time of purchase, you can schedule the remaining lessons in the Parent Dashboard as shown in the screenshots below. Please note the lessons can only be scheduled within your assigned tutor’s availability schedule and at least 24 hours in advance. In case you want to schedule for another date/time, please contact [email protected]
How do Online Private Lesson packages work?

Most of our courses can be purchased in the following packages and are designed to be completed in 16 hours. However students progress at their own speed, the course material will be adapted by the instructor to meet the student’s pace. In group classes, the material is adapted to the group pace.

1x Trial Lesson – This is designed to give your child a taster of the course material and our online learning tools.

4x Lessons – This option will give your child a an introduction to the course and cover some basic concepts.

8x Lessons – Depending on the course, this option will give your child with some solid transferable skills any may include the opportunity to apply these skills to individual projects.

16x Lessons – This package will ensure your child covers all the lessons in their module, including individual projects. 

 

What happens if I need to cancel an Online Private Lessons or Online Group Class?

My child is interested in a course which is listed for a different age group. Can they still sign up?

Our age recommendations are based on years of experience, however you know your child best. If you feel that your child is ready for a course which is listed for a different age group – you can go ahead and register them for Online Private Tutoring and your instructor will adapt the course material to your child’s needs.

If you are looking to register for an Online Class which is outside of your child’s age group, we ask you to bare in mind that these are group classes and the pace will be set accodring to the average class age. Younger students may not always be able to keep up with the rest of the group.
